Myhill Pens New Deal

by Danny Wright

Hull City goalkeeper Boaz Myhill has signed a new three year contract that will keep him with the Tigers until 2010.

The 24-year-old has made 107 appearances for the Championship side, but has been regularly linked with moves away from the KC Stadium with Charlton, West Brom, Wigan and Reading all reported to be interested in the highly rated stopper.

Myhill signed for Hull in December 2003 from Aston Villa for £50,000, and has enjoyed two promotions during his time on Humberside.

Despite the new deal the American was promptly dropped for the Tigers 1-1 draw with Coventry on Saturday, long-term understudy Matt Duke preferred following an impressive display in the Carling Cup against Crewe.
