Man City to offer £6M for Liverpool's Carson

Manchester City are planning a bid for Liverpool goalkeeper Scott Carson.The Times says while a £6 million offer would turn Liverpool's head, it is unclear whether the Merseyside club would be willing to sell him.
"Everything is a little bit hectic because the league starts in a couple of weeks and we have to be ready," City boss Sven Goran Eriksson said.
