CANARIES COMPLETE GILKS DEAL

Norwich have signed Rochdale goalkeeper Matt Gilks on a free transfer.
Gilks, 25, has snubbed a new deal at Spotland and has instead agreed a two-year contract with the Coca-Cola Championship outfit.
The Canaries have been chasing a new goalkeeper for much of the summer and although Peter Grant has refused to give up hope of bringing Celtic's David Marshall back to the club, he was delighted to capture Gilks, who made more than 200 appearances for Dale.
Grant told the Canaries' official website, www.canaries.co.uk: "I'm not just looking at David - and getting Matty proves that. He wants to come and fight for the 'keeper position.
"He has played two full seasons, has not missed a game and has been terrific."
Dale boss Keith Hill added: "He's an outstanding keeper, it's just a shame we couldn't retain his services.
"I wouldn't be surprised if he's a Premier League goalkeeper in the next few seasons."
