Champions League ROUND-UP

After a turbulent 2006 for Ac Milan Goalkeeper Nelson Dida a season with injuries, a World Cup which didn’t go ideally and a frustrating season with AC Milan.

Now once again Dida is set to play another Champions League Final, after Wayne Rooney's stunning last-minute winner kept Manchester United's hopes of reaching the Champions League final alive after an Old Trafford classic in the 1st leg Milan crumbled Utd at the San Siro 3.0. First-half goals from Kaka and Clarence Seedorf, and a late strike from Alberto Gilardino was enough to take Milan Athens, where they will meet Liverpool.


Dida who is now wearing the New Reusch Goaliator Pro Orthotec has extended his successful collaboration with Reusch, "they have consistently developed their gloves over the recent years and is the absolute standard as far as i am concerned, im looking forward to playing in the gloves in 2007" said Dida.


Liverpool reached another Champions League final after an epic semi-final victory with

Pepe Reina being the hero for Liverpool on Tuesday as they beat Chelsea at Anfield.

After Daniel Agger's first half leveller had taken them into extra time and then penalties. And they beat Chelsea 4-1 on penalties with Pepe Reina saved two of Chelsea's spot kicks.


Now Pepe Reina who wear the Adidas Response Pro has spoken of his desire to make his father the proudest man in the world – by going one step further than him and lifting the European Cup. Reina told the Offical Liverpool FC web site "My father played in a final, but hopefully it will not be the same result. We haven't spoken much about that game, but we have plenty of time to do so now – 22 days to speak about it.
