Fans forced keeper axe - Mowbray

West Brom manager Tony Mowbray has blamed the Baggies fans for goalkeeper Pascal Zuberbuhler's fall from favour.
The Swiss international started the season as first-choice keeper but was then dropped and made available for loan after abuse by Albion supporters.
Mowbray said: "Ultimately, the decision to leave him out was taken because of the negative impact from the terraces on the team rather than him.
"The team needs backing, support and everyone behind it."
Mowbray added: "I would like to think I stuck by Zubi for a period of time."
